Overview

ETH Canal Hackathon 2025 invites developers, designers, and builders to develop Ethereum-based solutions in a high-energy hybrid event. Spanning two weeks and culminating at the ETH Canal conference, this hackathon connects LATAM and global talent to solve real-world problems across Finance, Real Estate, Identity, and more.

🌍 At least one team member must be physically located in Panama during the event.

💰 Projects can qualify for up to $100K in grants by deploying on the BlockDAG Primordial Testnet.

BlockDAG Grant Track

Projects that want to qualify for up to $100K in post-hackathon grants must be deployable on the BlockDAG Primordial Testnet Support and documentation will be provided

Key Requirements

Relevance: Clearly define the problem your solution aims to solve
Code Complexity: Implement efficient algorithms and clean architecture
Testing: Ensure comprehensive unit and integration testing for reliability
Maintainability: Write modular, well-documented, and scalable code
Presentation: Prepare a clear presentation consisting of no more than 10 slides and a video presenting the team of no more than 3 minutes
